Hitching your caravan
You will learn how to safely and correctly hitch up your caravan during our comprehensive handover process.
Take it easy while you tow
The maximum speed limit for towing a caravan in WA is 100 kilometres per hour regardless of the gross weight or gross combination mass (GCM) of the car and trailer or caravan, as per the Road Safety Commision.
Arriving at your Campsite – 240v (mains) Power and Mains Water
Apply caravan handbrake and set the parking chocks in place.
Level and uncouple the caravan
Attach the jockey wheel and uncouple the caravan from your car. Level the van if required with the jockey wheel using the inbuilt spirit level.
Lower the corner steadies
Lower each of the four corner steadies (stabiliser legs) by holding the end of the stabiliser leg and pulling out the red handle so the leg becomes vertical. Then place the crank arm on the nut in the middle of the red handle and turn to extend the leg to the desired length.
Lift the Roof
Unclip the 4 roof clips, then set the awning switch to ‘OPEN’, unlock the caravan and push the roof up from inside.
